toooB is a friendly and curious creature who is not quite sure where she’s landed. She playfully explores the space around her, discovers her surroundings, invents games to play, and gently interacts with the audience. Audience numbers are kept low and audience sit on cushions on the floor. It is a very relaxed environment for babies and carers. The show lasts 25 minutes and then there is a 15 minute stay and play session with the performer.
toooB was created in 2020 at Lighthouse Poole’s Centre for the Arts following a period of devising with support from Arts Council England. It completed a short tour in early 2020 and we’ve visited a few venues post-lockdown in a Covid-friendly version.
Venues visited include: Half Moon Theatre, Newbury Corn Exchange, The Point Eastleigh, The Spring, Havant, Dorchester Arts, Farnham Maltings and Lighthouse Poole.
