Journey with us through WINTERWOOD – A festive forest for all the family.

Come and visit Winterwood for a special seasonal treat. Emmanuel Hall in Exeter, will be transformed into a magical, pine tree filled, snowy fairy tale land.

Everyone in Winterwood is getting ready for the annual tree decorating competition and for some of the residents competition is pretty fierce!

Explore at your own pace and visit the gingerbread shop, the secret clearings and find the hidden animals throughout the magical forest. You can also meet Mary Godmother, caretaker of the fancy fairytale ever-after emporium (coffee!), Jack, the “bean man” grown up after climbing the beanstalk, and sock obsessed Jessie who used to live with an old woman in a shoe. There is also a rumour that a magical fox called Milo might make a visit. Hear the characters wonderful stories, help them on their missions and celebrate on the most festive night of the Winterwood calendar… the announcement of  the Merry Mega Massive Magical Midwinter Tree Decorating Competition!

A collaboration between Angel Exit Theatre,  Theatre Alibi, Above Bounds Theatre and, most importantly, local school children, whose brilliant ideas formed the heart of Winterwood.
